Hopefully that's the northern Cali coast, not the south, much better scenery there. Have fun, don't get eaten by the local wildlife!
 

This was actually the first year we went camping for real. Usually my wife and I find a bed and breakfast near the campsite. We spend the day at the beach with her family, roast marshmallows, then would get to go back to our room to drink wine and relax, then wake up to a gormet breakfast. This year we have a foreign exchange student and two dogs, which becomes difficult and expensive to get a B&B.

Real camping wasn't too bad. Lots to clean up, and you have to get used to a public bathroom with cold showers.

[Tara] Yes. I had a lot of fun. Too much driving though - spent 13 hours in the car yesterday. Next year we're going to move our annual camping trip to Oregon as a compromise between CA and WA.
